A

All was hot.

B

All was none. Then, it began to appear.

C

All was gas. The gas was wide and soft and the air smooth and fat1. None could be seen beyond these intoxicating clusters of chromatic patterns. And the gas became the air and the air became of gas. All was clear, all was air.

D

The air was heavy and soon all was water. All was movement. All movement was waves. And all waves collided.

E

The waters were heavy and all was rock. The movement of the water became the movement of the earth, for all was movement. All rocks collided and the rocks were cracking and all were holes.

  1. In non-Shokrafian versions of the text the deities Ranfeth and Furk are used instead of gas and air (which are concepts in Shokrafian) respectively. The script tells of the battle for dominance between the two deities, ending with Furk’s victory and the devouring of Ranfeth. ↩︎
