Tallulah Harvey is a trailblazing queer non-binary writer and lecturer hailing from the vibrant streets of South-East London. With a deep-rooted passion for literature and a flair for innovative storytelling, Tallulah has made significant strides in both creative and academic realms.
Tallulah’s literary achievements include their upcoming second novel, which features a queer female James Bond, and numerous essays and short stories published in academic journals and art publications across the U.K. and Europe. Their screenplay, ‘I don’t miss her,’ is currently in post-production, further solidifying their reputation as a multifaceted creative force. Recognised for their talent, Tallulah was shortlisted for the From LGBTQ+ With Love Writer’s HQ Competition in 2019 and won the Arvon writing scholarship in 2023 for underrepresented writers.
Over the past three years, Tallulah has been teaching creative writing workshops at Uni Graz as part of Queer Referate, inspiring and mentoring the next generation of writers. Their expertise in proofreading and editing, honed over four years of working on various creative and academic projects, has been instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and authenticity of numerous texts.
Their journey as a wordsmith has led them to their current role as the Editor-in-Chief of “The Tablets of Holath,” a project that has not only expanded their horizons but also set new standards in interplanetary linguistic collaboration.
In late 2022, Tallulah was approached by Guy Ben-Tov, the translator of the project, to take on the monumental task of editing this culturally significant text. Their acceptance of this challenge marked a turning point in the history of Shokrafian translations. Tallulah’s pioneering work has included the development of the first-ever English standards for Shokrafian translations, making them a groundbreaking figure in the field of alien linguistics.
